Preventing Workplace Conflict From Becoming a Risk Event
About PDR

PDR was established by Neil Power following a 25 year career in funds management, finance and property investing. Neil has has a wealth of experience in managing businesses, people and problems.
Following his time as Managing Director of a hedge fund business, Investment Committee chair at an ASIC regulated fund manager, and Director of a real estate Investment business Neil understands the inherent risk that unresolved conflict can bring to a firm from revenue, reputational and regulatory perspectives.
Neil has also worked as Investor Relations Officer with an ASX listed business where he saw the importance of managing regulatory oversight and how important it is to keep a business out of the crosshairs.
At PDR we understand through first-hand experience the internal damage that, left addressed conflict can do to a team or an organisation’s culture. In most cases, the risk isn’t in the disagreement itself, it’s what happens if it’s left unmanaged:
More recently Neil worked with property developers and investors and spent a lot of time resolving disputes that arose around post-pandemic cost blowouts and project delays. It was this experience that motivated Neil to create PDR so he could focus exclusively on dispute resolution.
Originally from Dublin, Neil moved to Sydney in 1998 and is the proud father of two fine young men. Neil is a Nationally Accredited Mediator with AMDRAS and holds an honour’s degree in Economics with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies.
