When conflict escalates inside organisations, the risks it creates rarely stay contained.

Left unaddressed, workplace conflict can grow to the point where morale slips, culture and governance crack and talent leaves.  In the context of financial services and funds managment, AUM and enterprise-values can fall, and regulators can start paying attention.

Quite often we are all guilty of the same cardinal sin when it comes to conflict: avoidance. But in the highly regulated and risk averse world of finance this strategy carries significant risk.  â€‹

Avoiding disputes, especially those at senior levels leaves the space for them to fester and become a much larger issues. They impact more people and they can become a bigger and potentially more expensive problem to fix.  It can, in short, become a risk event.

At PDR we empower leaders to address conflict early, skillfully and confidently.  We help them understand the importance of getting to the root cause of the issue. Without this the likelihood of a sustainable resolution would be very low.

PDR helps the parties involved address their disputes constructively before they escalate further into entrenched disengagement, formal grievances or legal action. We resolve disputes that arise between functions — not just between individuals — to restore accountability, decision clarity, and control.

Unaddressed conflict at senior levels present a meaningful escalation risk:
